The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared

I finished this book few days ago and I'm still crazy smiling when I recall the story :) 

It was written by Jonas Jonasson (cool name btw coz I still remember it even when I have really bad memory for names :) .

It's about old man who decides not to stay in retirement home anymore and right on his 100th birthday escapes by jumping out of a window. This is where the book starts. After people realize he's disappeared they alarm police to search for him. In the meantime the old man named Alan is experiencing a great adventure which starts by stealing a suitcase from a racketeer at bus station ;) 

While reading the book you experience two adventures - the one happenning currently where Alan meets new friends and is chased by police and mafia and one more where you are learning about Alan's "previous" life that was everything but boring!

I loved the book but to me there was too much political stuff but when I read it, it was really smart and funny and I certainly don't regret! :)
